It's the big half-year FRAG Lan and Cc^ Dota is ready
The prizes look good and we are aiming for 1st, which will be a challenge facing the full TwG side

It's the year of 2009 already, 2008 having flown by and the memories with it already fading. 2009 is sure to be a year of great advancement for the South African gaming community in all quaters. Already there are multiple leagues, such as there Amature Gamers Association of South Africa, Battle of the Clans and even Mind Sports South Africa, being hosted and organised which cater for multiple games such as Counterstrike Source, Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2. There is also an extreme rarity occuring at the moment. A game revivial. CounterStrike 1.6 has been very inactive for the past two years and was considered to be dead to many. It turns out it wasn't dead, merely dormant. 1.6 pickups are steamrolling again, about 25 a day are being played and there is even organised FFA times being played. I'm really excited about the opportunities this presents us as there is already an online league under way called the Lcup. This is the year that could pave the future to a South Africa where it is recognised as a force to be weary of. |

Critical Control has been given the opportunity to go to rAge this year by AGASA and Telkom. They have given all the teams who played in their premier league free tickets to go to rAge. This will be the first major cs:s comp in ages with 16 of the best teams in SA going head to head , and we are greatly looking forward to it.
